How You Can Help
Josh and his wife are raising five children in Niagara Falls, New York, where the family worships at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. For some time now, Josh’s wife has lived with serious chronic conditions that affect her immune system and her mobility. Her care involves frequent appointments, and long waits for treatment through her insurance have made recovery a slow and frustrating road. To make matters worse, Josh recently lost his job.
Josh took family medical leave from work to care for her and for the children, who are schooled at home. While he was on leave, his employer ended his employment, and the family was left with no source of income.
They are now about three months behind on their mortgage and utilities. Their only vehicle needs a major repair, which makes it difficult to get to medical appointments and to church.
A goal of $25,000 would bring the family current on their bills and cover most of their basic expenses for the coming year. It would give Josh the room to care for his wife and children while he looks for steady work, without the fear of losing their home.
Beyond financial help, the family would be grateful for your prayers and encouragement.
