How You Can Help

I had cervical spine surgery through the back of my neck in June and have done pretty well with that, and it was very successful.

Over the summer, I started losing feeling in my foot. My leg and hip were giving out, and I had six falls over the past three weeks, including one on the stairs. I’ve been in intense pain since July, with my pain hitting an eight out of 10 constantly. I had pre-admission testing done, which showed major, large kidney stones blocking the kidneys and causing one of them to be inflamed.

My spine surgeon made the decision that he needed to do spinal surgery ASAP. I had an L5 L5 fusion last Thursday, September twenty-fourth, but developed complications after that with bladder issues.

I saw the urologist today, and I’m going to need three procedures done to hopefully get the kidney back intact. He wants to start these in the next two weeks.

My spouse also has to have a procedure when I recover from all of this to have the wires used in cardiac surgery in 2015 removed because they broke when he fell two years ago and broke five ribs. He will be limited with what he can do for a few weeks, so I need to support him during that time.

I am already accruing astronomical medical expenses, and my spine surgeon wants me to not work for 4 weeks or work very lightly. I am the wage earner for the house through my work at home as a therapist.

Please keep us in prayer. My husband is handling everything. I need a lot of assistance, and he takes care of our property with eleven acres, our mini ranch, and our four dogs.

Our substance is our faith, the people who support us, and our family, and we now have 3 adorable grandchildren. Our granddaughter Eve was 4 in August. Our grandson Judah will be 3 the first week of October, and our grandson David was born Valentine’s Day, February twenty twenty-six.
